SEARCH's Information Sharing Initiatives assist state, local and tribal justice and public safety to develop, operate, secure and improve information sharing and identification systems. We provide this assistance through products and services in the areas of interoperability and systems and technology procurement and implementation. We offer:
- Onsite and in-house technical assistance on using best practices in technology project governance, planning and project management.
- White papers and Guides describing best practices, and offering specific techniques, tasks and procedures for technology projects.
- Education and training on the use of data and process modeling tools for interagency data exchange.
- Information about and assistance in the use of federal standards such as the Global Justice XML Data Model.
- Tools and assistance in justice information technology systems and services procurement.
